TriUtah - Race Promoter and Organizer

For nearly 10 years, TriUtah has been Utah's premier triathlon and multisport event promoter. As the organizers of over 50 athletic events since 1998, they have produced a wide variety of races including Half-iron, Olympic, F-1, and sprint triathlons, half marathon and 5K runs, adventure races, and the TriKids race series. They have also hosted numerous USA Triathlon Rocky Mountain Regional Championships as well as a 2007 USAT World Qualifier.

  • 7:30-9:30 AM Timing chip pick-up, body marking.
  • 9:45 AM Transition closes & National Anthem at the swim start beach
  • 10:00 AM Race begins with the Elite wave. (All wave start times are TBA)
  • 1:00 PM Awards Ceremony at Port Ramp 
  • 10:00-3:00PM Taste of Ogden Valley Festival with live music, food booths, games for kids, and more!
Welcome to the 6th Annual Ogden Valley Triathlon

Description

Welcome to the 6th Annual Ogden Valley Triathlon! An open water event, we present Utah's first"equalizer" triathlon. 1000 meter open water swim, 15.2 mile bike, 4 mile run. Average finish times from our first three open water events will be used to determine an "equalizer" time between the men and women waves. Top 5 finishers (male and female combined) in each age group will receive awards. Relay teams are also welcome to participate in their own category.

Additional Information

TriUtah is proud to host the first "MSTri" in the country to benefit the Utah Multiple Sclerosis Society. If you would like to be a fundraiser for this wonderful cause, you can indicate your desire during the registration process. The Ogden Valley Triathlon is a USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned event. Registration is limited to 1500 athletes. Registration will close when the limit is reached, which may be prior to the "online registration close" date listed above. This event is an open water swim highlighted by a beach start for each wave. Wetsuits are recommended but not required. Swim in Pineview Reservoir, followed by a low-traffic single loop road bike around Pineview Reservoir and a run highlighted by a wonderful trail run on the return leg to the finish line!
